It is a performance that explores significant aspects of the lives of transgender individuals in Romania, focusing on the multiple transformations they have experienced.

It is a comprehensive historical archive, covering everything from the first surgeries that took place to the legislative system, public debates, and other painful forms of discrimination against transgender individuals.

It utilizes subjective narratives that center around representative moments in the history of the transgender community.

To know our history is liberating. It pulls us out of the invisibility into which penal codes, abusive policies, and media tainted by conservative ideologies have constantly pushed us. To know our history is liberating. We claim it, we know it, we speak it, we stage it, we dance it, we use our queer bodies to represent it, we mourn it, we change it. To create our history is even more liberating. transLucid imagines a future in which we write our own narratives and build the world we want and need.
