[advocacy]

Advocacy means coordinated actions aimed at influencing public policies, institutional practices, and decision-making processes that have a direct impact on the rights and interests of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Since the beginning of our work, we have been involved in national advocacy campaigns and projects, actively contributing to systemic change and to increasing the visibility of the issues our community faces.

At the local level, we provide support for cases with the potential for strategic litigation, as a tool for long-term change and for holding institutions accountable.

In parallel, our awareness, grassroots, and regional programs support advocacy efforts through information, mobilization, and the strengthening of community voices, ensuring that change does not remain only on paper, but is felt in everyday life.

[public space is never neutral]

The campaign aims to foster civic engagement among residents of Timișoara in identifying and reporting illegal symbols and messages appearing as graffiti in public spaces, in accordance with Law 217/2015, Article 1.

  • encourages residents to identify and report illegal symbols and messages in public spaces;

  • facilitates reporting either directly to the TimiÈ™oara City Hall, through the public reporting platform, or via our team;

  • frames reporting as an act of civic responsibility and solidarity;

  • reinforces the principle that hate and discrimination have no place in the city’s public spaces.
