Identity.Education Association – Legal Entity without patrimonial purpose, headquaters in Timisoara, registered number 124, unique fiscal code of registration 41754842 in the Registree of Associations and Foundations, collects and processes certain types of personal data, in the context of usage within organising events of Identity.Education (exhibitions, theater plays, concerts, conferences, social, cultural and artistical events, film screenings and others).

[what data we collect]

During the ongoing events, we process certain types of personal data from you, in case you would like to participate as a guest in them or to help with organizing it. Read below about our scopes for needing such data. The personal data categories we would need from you are mentioned in our registering forms that we display. As an example, we would also require a social media link to your public profile to confirm your identity and avoid risks raised against the community (we will not use or download in any shape or form, the available information from your public profile).

Delivering suggestions for events and getting involved in various ways in organising. Participating as an artist, performer or as a guest in our events. Based on the forms we provide you are encouraged to contact us to propose suggestions for events or regarding organizational matters. We process contact details for our legitimate interest in event organization. We would perform erasure of data records within 3 years’ time since the finalization of the event you registered in.

Ways of contacting the organizers. When you would contact us (via email, phone number, other online forms) we will retain contact details and messaging content in our legitimate interest to maintain communication with the public.

As part of the processing operations carried out for the purposes indicated in this information note, personal data may become accessible to the following categories of third parties (only to the extent that access is absolutely necessary), as follows:

a) Companies that provide us with products and services, such as: providers of information technology systems and maintenance of these systems, including email archiving, data disaster recovery, cyber security services, management services and email transmission, newsletter transmission services.

b) Other organizations involved in the organization of the events, if they need to know this information.

c) Public authorities, only to the extent that they have the necessary powers to know this information (for example, courts or other authorities with a role in solving specific cases). All transfers / disclosures of data mentioned above are carried out in compliance with the principles related to the processing of personal data, in particular the principle of personal data minimization. Identity.Education will send to the third parties indicated above only the personal data that is strictly necessary to achieve the stated purposes.

As a data subject, you have specific rights related to the personal data we process about you. We will respect your rights and respond to your requests appropriately.

The right to information: It is your right to receive information regarding the personal data processing operations carried out by us. Compliance with this right is achieved through this information.
The right to withdraw consent: If you have given your consent to the processing of personal data, you can withdraw your consent.

Right of access: Your right to obtain from us a confirmation as to whether or not we are processing personal data concerning you and, if so, upon request, access to said data and the provision of information on data processing.


The right to rectification: your right to obtain, without unjustified delay, the rectification of inaccurate data concerning you or the completion of personal data that is incomplete.


The right to data deletion: You have the right to request that we delete the personal data we process about you. We must comply with this request if:
a) Personal data are no longer necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected;
b) You object to the processing for reasons related to your particular situation;
c) Personal data were processed illegally;
d) Personal data must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation incumbent upon us, unless the data is necessary: for the exercise of the right to free expression and information; to comply with a legal obligation we have; for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or for historical studies or for statistical purposes; or for establishing, exercising or defending a right in court.

The right to restrict processing: Your right to obtain the restriction of personal data processing in situations expressly provided for in art. 18 of the GDPR.

The right to data portability: You have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us, and which are processed on the basis of consent or the execution of a contract, and where it is technically feasible, to request that us to transmit the personal data (that you provided to us) to another organization, under the strict conditions of art. 20 of the GDPR.


The right to object: Where the processing is based on our legitimate interests or those of a third party, you can object at any time to the processing of your personal data for reasons related to your particular situation. If you object to such processing, we will no longer process your personal data, unless we demonstrate that we have reasons that justify the processing and that prevail over your interests, rights and freedoms, or that the purpose is to establish, exercise or defend a right of ours in court.

To exercise the above rights, you can send a written request to Identity.Education using the contact details indicated at the beginning of this document.

You will receive a free of charge answer and without unjustified delay, and within no more than 1 month after receiving the request. This term can be extended, in cases justified by the complexity of the request, with an additional period of no more than 2 months.


The right to file a complaint. If you have a complaint about how we process your data, we would prefer that you contact us directly so that we can resolve your issue. However, you can contact the National Authority for the Supervision of Personal Data Processing through the form available on the authority’s website: www.dataprotection.ro.
