Safe spaces for LGBTQI+ youth

Working together for an inclusive Europe

Safe spaces for LGBTQI+ youth mission is to increase the safety and inclusion in public spaces for LGBTQI+ youth so that events and projects (regardless of type: academic, artistic, cultural, educational, sports) will be free of discrimination and bullying.

This type of project is meant to encourage LGBTQI+ youth to participate in projects and events dedicated to them, and to bring up LGBTQI+ topics in a country like Romania, which, historically, has been restrictive with the visibility of minorities and vulnerable groups of young people.

The project is implemented by Identity.Education in partnership with ASPST, Liga AC şi SSMT – SCORA department and benefits from a 44.000 euros grant from Active Citizens Fund Romania, programme funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants Grants 2014-2021.
